Survival of the Luckiest?

Well, the inaugural DDO Hardcore League session has ended.  It seemed to be a big hit.  While there is no official word on when - or even "if" - it will return, I'd have to bet that it will, someday.

Change of Strategy

DDO is currently having a 3-month event.  Starting back in August, they opened a new, VIP-only server that will shut-gown on November 15th.  They call it the "Hardcore League" event.  The main rule of the event?  You have but one life.  Period.

Return to Krondor† (er, Baldur's Gate)

Once again, I will blame my extended lack of posting on that most dreaded of all four-letter words (W-O-R-K).  But seeing as how I selfishly promoted my own blog today (that being July 18, 2019, if you happen to be reading "in the future") on the DDO fora (sorry, "forums"), I figured I should probably attempt to put up a post.

Send in the Clones

NWO has a new update (U16) called "Undermountain".  And with it come major changes to several mechanics, including character creation and class progression.  Though it has been out for less than a week, so far, I'm not a big fan.

The Eyes Have It

Yesterday (being March 18, 2019, for those reading on a date later than this post), I had a procedure performed on both of my eyes.  They call it a "surgery" but to me "surgery" implies cutting and there was no cutting involved.

Before you go thinking the title is in reference to me signing off "forever" and never blogging again, don't worry your pretty little heads about it - it's not.  If and/or when that time comes, I'll probably not provide any type of warning or 'farewell' address post - it'll just happen (hehehe).
